Do your part...
Actually, I was thinking how I could do 'big' things and have 'big' plans to do my part for conservation...but then now coming to think about it...its the small things that we've to begin with...
We can all do our part to save these animals, to slow down greenhouse effect (or Climate change), do do our part for conservation. These are the things, simple for all of us. Think about these, if everyone can make an effort to remember all these things, our efforts, although insignificant individually... could amount to a big change.
Pls dun submit to the inconvenient truth...
1) Spread the word to your family and frens, be a good example to them
2) Switch off all lights and electricity appliances when not using (its just a small gesture!)
3) Save water (if we've got to pay for the water we drink now, we might gotta pay for the air we breathe next time!)
4) Use environmental friendly products, packaging, appliances (doesn't hurt to read the packaging a little longer rite?)
5) Save paper! (Lecture notes print 4/6 per page double side, word doc print two per page..use rough papers. I see some jokers printing one slide per page! Are they blind or just stupid?? Caution: there are lots of wierd ppl around.
6) Use less plastic bags!!!!!
7) Recycle!
8) Dun support illegal poaching by stopping the demand! NO EATING OF EXOTIC FOOD! NO SHARKS' FIN! NO WHALE MEAT! (even if you're rich you dun have to show it off this way)
I guess you dun have to be an adult to know all these. simple things like this even a primary school kid will know.
