Cookout at my house...

Today Jaihui took leave from work, so nice of her to ask me out..haha..but I was tired and wanted to rest at home, so she offered to come my house bake cookies! Good time to try out my new electric steam oven which has digital small LCD screen which can let us choose steam, bake, roast..etc functions...very intelligent machine. After we bought the necessary ingredients at NTUC, we started to make the cookies, and it only took us 1 hr plus to finish everything, making two container full of butter and chocolate chip cookies. Yummy! Its so delicious, even my parents praised it. Then we also made dinner for ourselves, made roast chicken and cooked mushrooms in oyster sauce..My signature dish! hehe...gald that Jiahui liked the mushrooms. After dinner, we watched vcd and ate dessert..MOMO ice cream cookies...Nice dinner except it could have finished with something better like wine or maybe fruit cocktail...haha...next time when Jiahui comes again to bake cake I shall buy the cocktail...hehe.

Anyway, nice to have her around and enjoyed her company...especially when doing something fun tog! We've agreed to like stay over at each other's place instead of going out because nowadays everywhere is crowded. Yeah, looking forward! Hope aiwen, meiling, and caijun can come join us for the next cook out too!
